About 1998<\/strong> I was comfortably accepted with my camera by most \"\"folks at CVR,\u00a0so I discontinued any Mountain man competitions I had been involved in, and I began participating full time as a camera man. In 1999 I gave out over 150 copies of a 20-minute VHS tape that I had edited from my 1998 tapes.\u00a0 This was my first published video, and I had invested a lot of time and money into making it available.<\/p>\n

The videos I took in 1999, (the last of the century) I again invested a lot of time and money in producing a video\u00a0to sell in the year 2000.\u00a0 Anticipating as much interest as I had with the \u201cFree\u201d video and wanting to get a price\u00a0break on production, I grossly over ordered on this one.\u00a0 However, enough people purchased a copy, that I felt it was fairly priced, so I never did offer any discounts on this video, although I had to bury a huge inventory.<\/p>\n

\"\"By the turn of the century I had gained a limited audience with my \u201cFAMILY STYLE\u201d videos. \u00a0However, my next production wasn\u2019t ready until 2002 so I combined two years together to try and keep up.\u00a0 I defined my video editing technique as \u201cFamily style\u201d. <\/em><\/strong>\u00a0I defined \u201cFamily<\/strong><\/em> Style<\/em><\/strong>\u201d as<\/em><\/strong> \u201cThat\u2019s what makes a one-hour video last ninety minutes!\u201d<\/em><\/strong> It wasn\u2019t about short attention spans, it was about the people involved, Cache Valley Rendezvous has a sense of Family to it.\u00a0 \u00a0I was learning about marketing too, (there was no inventory left over from this production,) but that was too little too late.\u00a0 The hours it took me to edit five or so hours of video down to even \u201cFamily Style\u201d; I could not keep up with it, and still keep a full-time job.<\/p>\n

I continued going to Cache Valley Rendezvous, but only taking pictures.\u00a0 When folks would ask about my next video, I told them that It will be after I retire, but that was a longtime away (back then).<\/p>\n

Time has its way of passing by, and it did.\u00a0 I retired in August 2013 and released my next video at the rendezvous 2014.\u00a0 My marketing skills had not<\/strong> improved, everyone wanted \u201cLast Year\u2019s video\u201d,<\/strong> not 2003!? Before I could correct my marketing error, (and edit last years video<\/strong>) there was no next year to market it in. \u00a0\u00a0So, it ended.<\/p>\n

\"\"2003 <\/strong>ls the only DVD I currently have available<\/a> in (limited) INVENTORY.\u00a0 It lasts about an hour.\u00a0\u00a0 A good editor could cut it down to less than 10 minutes.\u00a0 But \u2018ol Tracker calls that<\/u><\/strong> a \u201cTRAILER<\/em>!\u201d\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 So, it\u2019s okay if you only have time to watch the \u201cTrailer by Tracker<\/em><\/a>\u201d I hope you enjoy it!\u00a0 If you want to see more, contact me<\/a> to purchase a copy.<\/p>\n
